Our Story
How It All Began
Kiwi Welldrillers was started nearly 50 years ago by the Brown brothers, Kevin and Shane, who built the company into a respected name in the drilling industry.
Today, as the third owners, Cory and Christine Jamieson are adding their own touch—refocusing the business on what we do best: drilling water bores.
We’re committed to being leaders in the water drilling industry by delivering services that include:

- • Supplying and installing down-hole pumps
- • Pump and water testing
- • Maintenance and system rebuilds for bores and pump systems
Leading the Industry Today
To support our growth, in 2024 we acquired Aqua Drill NZ, based in Matakana, and successfully integrated it into Kiwi Welldrillers. This expansion has given us more capacity to respond when our customers need us.
Just as importantly, we believe in growing together—with our people. We’re dedicated to providing a great work environment, investing in training, and encouraging ongoing development so our staff can thrive alongside the business.

Our Team Members
Cory Jamieson
Director / Operations Manager
Cory brings a wealth of experience to Kiwi Well Drillers with extensive knowledge of drilling, construction, and business management. He works closely with our drilling teams from start to finish, ensuring we provide the best chance of a successful drill for every project.
Christine Jamieson
Director / Business Manager
Christine has been running businesses for most of her working life and brings a strong focus to customer service and systems. Her expertise ensures your project runs smoothly and gets completed on time, every time.
Geoff
Engineer / Pump Installer
Geoff brings a lifetime of engineering experience to Kiwi Well Drillers, ensuring our rigs, trucks, and vehicles meet our high safety standards. He leads our pump and maintenance department to achieve excellent results on all projects.
Michelle
Accounts / Administration
Michelle manages both the administrative and financial areas of the business. She works extensively with councils to secure drilling consents for our customers and maintains our Health and Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for both our team and clients.
Juan
Plumber / Pump Installer
Juan's experience as a plumber extends the services we can supply to customers when discussing water needs and final implementation plans. As a pump installer and maintenance team member, he ensures we meet all healthy water standards and council requirements for bore installations.
Eli
Senior Driller
Eli's extensive field experience and technical knowledge make him an invaluable asset to our team. He oversees our most complex drilling projects with precision and skill, while mentoring new trainees to ensure the next generation of drillers meets our high standards.
Travis
Driller
Travis has worked with Kiwi Well Drillers for the past 6 years, progressing from off-sider to an experienced water driller. With previous core drilling experience, he brings an eye for detail and determination to always hit the target that produces the best water for our customers.
Caleb
Apprentice / Off-sider
Caleb is a young, enthusiastic apprentice who is learning to be an excellent off-sider. With extensive experience and training, he is working towards becoming a fully qualified driller.
Bwaoro
Off-sider
Bwaoro has been working with the company for the past 8 months and has become a valuable member of his drilling team. He is actively working towards becoming a driller in the future.
